World Youth Skills Day Dialogues
In light of rapid technological advancements and the continuously evolving job market, there is a growing need to equip young people with work-ready and adaptable skill sets. Recognising this need, the United Nations General Assembly designated July 15th as World Youth Skills Day in 2014. This day celebrates the crucial role of providing young people with skills essential for employment, decent work, and entrepreneurship.
About Youth Skills Day Dialogues
At Generation Global, we know the importance of equipping young people with life and work skills. That's why we're hosting 'Youth Skills Day Dialogues' during the week of July 15th. These 60-minute video conferences invite young people to discuss the future of work, share their thoughts on why people work, the role of employment in economic growth, and current work trends. They will also explore essential skills for success in the global workforce, all in a safe environment with peers from around the world.
Certificate of Participation
A certificate of participation will be sent to all the young people who participate in the Youth Skills Day Dialogues, certifying their foundational knowledge of the topic and application of dialogue skills.

Testimonial
"In the last dialogue, I used active listening skills and speaking skills to talk about getting ready for jobs in the future. One student said it's important to help people in places where they don't have mentors or career help. So, I decided to help those who don't have this information."
