Girls Day Dialogues
The International Day of the Girl Child, observed annually on October 11, was established by the United Nations in 2011 to raise awareness to the unique challenges girls face globally and to advocate for their rights. Rooted in the 1995 Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action, this day emphasizes the critical role of girls in shaping a more equitable future. It calls for urgent action to ensure that all girls have access to education, healthcare, and opportunities, recognizing their potential to drive positive change in their communities and beyond.
In celebration of the International Day of the Girl Child, Generation Global invites young people to participate in the Girls' Day Dialogues. These 60-minute virtual dialogues will provide a platform for participants to discuss the challenges girls face, share their visions for a world where every girl is empowered, and explore concrete actions to support this vision. Guided by Generation Global's skilled facilitators, these dialogues are an opportunity for everyone to listen, learn, and contribute to creating a more equitable and inclusive world. Don't just be a part of the audience — be a part of the change.
Certificate of Participation
A certificate of participation will be sent to all the young people who participate in the Girls' Day Dialogues, certifying their foundational knowledge of the topic and application of dialogue skills.
