Who is the course for?

This course is designed for education practitioners, including both formal and non-formal educators, as well as individuals looking to incorporate dialogue skills and intercultural practices into their teaching methods and communities.

There are 4 modules in this course, each with a series sections and steps that will provide you with knowledge about teaching dialogue and interactive activities you can do with your learners.

Module 3:
Teaching Dialogue
Section 1- Preparing for dialogue Explore methods for creating a safe and brave space for learners to engage in dialogue.

Understand identity as a foundational element of dialogue and intercultural understanding.
Section 2 - Practical strategies Learn and practice strategies for teaching learners the five core skills of dialogue.
Module 4:
Tools and Resources
Section 1 - Generation Global resources Learn how to use the Ultimate Dialogue Adventure to assign topics and practice written dialogue.

Learn how to use the video conference platform to create live dialogue experiences for learners.
Section 2 - Developing a plan of action Develop a plan of action for using Generation Global resources with learners.

Timeline and Completion:

This course will take you 4-6 hours to complete depending on your own pace and you will have 30 days to complete the course to receive a certificate.

If you have not completed this course in 30 days, you may reset the course to extend for 30 more days, and it will save your progress. If you do not complete the course during your extension period, you will not be able to reset the course a third time and will lose your progress. You would need to completely start the course again.

When you have finished, you will receive a certificate that you can share for the Introduction to Dialogue course, demonstrating you are knowledgeable and proficient in teaching core skills of dialogue to your learners.
