What a year it’s been for Generation Global! In 2024, we reached over 42,000 young people and 2,300 educators from 98 countries, creating 600+ global connections and 37,200 minutes of dialogue in six languages. It’s amazing to see 82% of young people reported an improvement in their dialogue skills, showing the power of these conversations to foster empathy and understanding.

This quarter, we launched Inclusive Communities, a new topic that helps young people explore connections in school, neighbourhoods, and online, and introduced Classroom Ready Science Activity Blocks focused on Climate Change and Biodiversity. Our educator webinar also shared tips for preparing learners for global video conferences, helping you bring the world into your classroom.

There were many standout moments: 800 learners from 26 countries joined COP29 Youth Dialogues to discuss climate change, while 450 learners participated in Girls’ Day Dialogues, envisioning a fairer future. In Rwanda, over 4,300 learners and 70 educators celebrated a year of global connections on issues like peace and climate change.

Globally, we shone at Bett Asia, where we hosted the Bett EdTech 10 list and judged the SDG Schools Challenge. Our Power of Dialogue webinar with International Baccalaureate (IB) shared strategies for integrating dialogue into IB curricula and empowering global citizens. Also, we’re a finalist for the GESS Awards 2024 for Best Free App/Software Product/Resource—a huge testament to the hard work of everyone involved.

Thank you for being part of this journey. Together, we’re shaping a more connected, inclusive future. Read on to see what we’ve achieved together!

Warm regards, Team Generation Global
