AdaptEd
AdaptED is an AI-powered educational tool designed to personalise the learning experience for students based on their unique learning styles.
The project leverages machine learning algorithms to analyse students’ strengths, weaknesses, pace of learning, and preferred methods of engagement—whether visual, read/write, auditory or kinesthetic. By doing so, AdaptED creates custom learning paths that help each student grasp concepts more effectively and build long-term understanding.
The aim of this project is to address the “one size fits all” challenge in education. Many students struggle not because of a lack of ability, but because the teaching method doesn't align with how they learn best. AdaptED strives to bridge that gap by providing insights and suggestions tailored to each learner.
Through AdaptED, we hope to promote inclusive, equitable education where every student feels supported, empowered, and capable of reaching their full potential. The project reflects the IB’s emphasis on innovation, critical thinking, and global-mindedness, qualities that are essential in today’s ever-changing world. Ultimately, we want to help build a future where technology doesn’t replace teachers but enhances their ability to make meaningful, personalised connections with every student.
