All About Autism
Through my project I plan on holding workshops in various locations of Kenya, allowing me to collect educators in that area and provide them with a free session on how to support children with Autism in their classroom.
These workshops would include a copy of my book entitled All About Autism that I created for my Personal Project for each participant, allowing them to learn more about Autism and have tips on how to support children at their fingertips, live demonstrations of techniques that show how to support Autistic children, and items that would be required to have in their classroom in order to support these children. By taking these steps I hope that teachers will be able to interact with Autistic children in a conducive manner that will enable the children to thrive academically in a well supported environment.
