ARISE
ARISE is a student-led financial literacy initiative working with women and youth across India, the Philippines, Thailand, and Singapore.
We run in-person workshops using a certified, story-based curriculum adapted region by region, picture-based in some communities, digitally focused in others. Our app, Orion, built from scratch as a school project and now live on the App Store, reaches 200+ users through short, gamified lessons designed for people who've always been told finance isn't for them.
On the ground, student country leads own the delivery. Nothing we do is imported or one-size-fits-all.
To date, we've reached 300+ individuals, recorded an average 63% improvement in financial literacy scores, and helped women unlock over $3,270 in microloans.
With the Global Youth Action Fund, we're launching university programs in Japan through the Nippon Foundation, scaling Orion to 500+ users, and reaching 1,000+ people by end of 2026 through a model built to run without us at the centre. "Empowering rural women at the roots of the economy."
