Borrow Box nationwide expansion
The Borrow Box project is a youth-led initiative that will bring accessible, high-quality children’s books to neighborhoods across Aotearoa via small, community-run libraries.

I hope to expand Borrow Box nationally by creating flatpack-style boxes, partnering with schools and communities, and empowering young “reader leaders” to set up and run their own Borrow Boxes. My goal is to make reading fun, easy, and accessible to all kids—no matter their background or where they live—so we can turn the tide on declining youth literacy in New Zealand.
