BOOST: Enhancing Youth Employment in Congo Brazzaville BOOST represents an innovative digital employment platform addressing youth unemployment challenges in Congo Brazzaville, where 63% of the population is under 25 and youth unemployment stands at 41%.
Developed by high school students, this initiative responds to the need for centralized job resources. The platform connects young job seekers with employment opportunities, internships, and entrepreneurship resources while providing financial literacy education and skill development. For businesses, BOOST offers access to qualified candidates and efficient hiring tools.
We aim to support 500+ young people in our first year, collaborate with 50+ local employers, and contribute to a 20% reduction in youth unemployment in Brazzaville. Future plans include national expansion, AI-enhanced job matching, and mobile application development. BOOST serves as a bridge to opportunity, fostering a generation of financially capable youth prepared to contribute to Congo's development. The initiative aligns with Sustainable Development Goal 8 and Africa's Agenda 2063, working toward economic empowerment and positive societal change.
