Casa Nicolo

It aims to guarantee them access to high quality education, adequate food and a safe environment where they can fully develop. Many of these children have never attended school before and come from difficult backgrounds. The project operates Monday through Saturday, from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., offering classes in subjects such as mathematics, English and geopolitics, as well as recreational activities. It also provides four meals a day: breakfast, snacks and lunch, which represents a great support for them and their families. Right now, with the tools I have, I teach them the basics of computers, like Word and PowerPoint, but my real goal is to go beyond that. I want these children not only to use technology, but to create it, for programming to become their bridge to a future full of opportunities. However, the lack of equipment limits their learning. With the support of the Global Action Fund, we could make programming a real tool for transformation, giving them the opportunity to change their lives and break the cycle of poverty with knowledge and creativity.
