Clear Talk
Since listening is a crucial component of learning to talk yet many hard-of-hearing persons are unable to speak, our effort was motivated by a desire to assist those who struggle with their hearing every day.
Our solution is a speech-learning app for people who are deaf or hard of hearing. This app uses various images and videos to demonstrate how the tongue and lips move inside the mouth while a word/letter/syllable is spoken. A brief explanation of the terms, such as a definition or example, will also be included on the term page. Through entertaining graphics, games, and challenges like matching a term to the mouth form the app will be formed. We hope that by making our concept a reality and making it available to millions of people worldwide, we will increase their chances of living better and more prosperous lives. We hope that the finished product will improve the lives of many people and that we may help those who are in need by providing them with an approachable, simple, and enjoyable solution to an issue that, unfortunately, many people throughout the world face.
