Combili

The Combili Urban Garden -initiative started from a realization that millions of people suffer from a simple fault in our behavior. We dump our kitchen bio waste into landfills and it turns into toxic greenhouse gases. By creating a scalable model that has technological and educational components, all this could be changed. The Combili model trains children and youth to shoulder the issue of biowaste in their community by running an open-concept urban garden. It will be equipped with locally manufactured composting technology (tumblers) and the best internationally recognized elements for community gardening. The result is a model that can be implemented in any city around the world. We believe in bringing youth and children to the forefront of change while inviting decision makers to take part.
