Digital Financial Education Ecosystem: Empowering Venezuelan Youth
Through the Digital Financial Education Ecosystem, my twin brother and I are addressing the urgent need for accessible financial literacy among youth in Venezuela.
We began by co-authoring Finanzas en Juego: Construyendo Futuro Paso a Paso, an educational book designed to teach saving, budgeting, and responsible spending to students who often lack access to these essential skills. Supported by workshops and interactive sessions, this initiative has already impacted over 700 students.
With the Global Youth Action Fund grant, we aim to expand the reach of our first book to more schools and underserved communities, particularly where economic barriers limit educational opportunities. We are also developing a second book focused on introducing young learners to trading, blockchain, and modern digital finance concepts in an accessible way.
Our project seeks not only to deliver content but also to empower students through workshops and mentorship opportunities, building financial resilience in a region heavily affected by economic instability. We are committed to scaling this initiative sustainably, leveraging institutional partnerships and digital tools to create long-term impact. We are proud to have the IB share our work as an example of how youth-led projects can address critical educational gaps through innovation and persistence.
