Ecorise Straws
Ecorise is a youth-led initiative addressing water scarcity and unsafe drinking water in underserved communities in Sindh, Pakistan.
Our project focuses on providing immediate access to clean water through the distribution of Ecorise water filter straws, which allow individuals to safely drink from contaminated sources. Alongside distribution, we conduct WASH awareness sessions to educate communities on hygiene, safe water practices, and disease prevention, with a strong focus on women and children who are most affected.
Our goal is to reduce waterborne diseases, improve health outcomes, and create lasting behavioral change. By combining simple, portable filtration solutions with education, we aim to build a scalable model that can reach more communities facing water insecurity. This work is not just about access to water. It is about protecting health, restoring dignity, and empowering people with the tools to survive and thrive.
