Education for All
An issue in my community is unequal education/facilities for specially-abled children.
They don’t receive the same opportunities to learn and showcase their potential as other students. I aim to rectify this by partnering with Rising Sun Institute, a local non-profit school and welfare center that supports specially-abled children through teaching, therapeutic facilities, and vocational training. I will create an audio-book library of curriculum books for Grade 6 - 10 for their visually impaired students. The school doesn't have the curriculum book in the shape of the audiobooks available. This acts as a learning barrier for visually impaired students. This intervention will allow the students to develop their skills and provide them with greater opportunities to excel, setting them up for success in the future.
