The project is a mission to shatter the silence surrounding menstrual health.
In the four vast areas we are going to cover, talking about menstrual health remains an enigmatic taboo, leaving women and young girls veiled in ignorance and stigma. Our team has ingeniously crafted interactive workshops, where they delicately untangle the myths and misconceptions surrounding menstruation, revealing the empowering truth of menstrual hygiene. In these enlightening moments, women are encouraged to embrace their bodies and wield knowledge as a mighty sword.
One of the most magical chapters of this odyssey is the pad-making sessions. Here, fabrics are transformed into shields of confidence and comfort. Guided by skillful hands, women learn the art of crafting reusable pads that protect not only their health but also the environment.
From this project, the public in rural areas of Nepal achieves several significant benefits such as improved Hygiene Practices, better Health Outcomes, positive Community Engagement and improved Access to Reproductive Healthcare. Overall, the achievements of this project lead to healthier, more informed, and empowered communities. As the sun sets on this journey, it rises on a new dawn where menstrual health is no longer a whispered secret but a radiant celebration of womanhood.
