Empowering socially and emotionally marginalized children through music
Our project uses music education to empower socially and emotionally marginalized children in our community. Through learning brass instruments such as trumpet, trombone, and French horn, children gain a safe and creative space where they can express themselves, build confidence, and develop teamwork and discipline.
Many of the children we work with face challenges such as low self-esteem, emotional stress, and limited access to extracurricular opportunities. By providing regular music lessons, mentorship, and supportive group activities, the project helps them strengthen their emotional wellbeing and social connections.
Through the Global Youth Action Fund, we hope to expand access to instruments and learning materials, reach more children in need, and strengthen the sustainability of the program. Our goal is to continue using music as a powerful tool to inspire hope, build confidence, and support positive development among young people in our community.
