Ending Period poverty

The Ceekay Foundation is a groundbreaking initiative that aims to address the critical issue of menstrual health and hygiene among girls.

The Ceekay Foundation is a groundbreaking initiative that aims to address the critical issue of menstrual health and hygiene among girls.

Through interactive workshops and comic books, the project breaks the silence surrounding menstrual health, empowering women and young girls to embrace their bodies and wield knowledge as a powerful tool. This initiative leads to improved hygiene practices, better health outcomes, positive community engagement, and enhanced access to healthcare in the community. In addition to empowering young girls, the foundation also fosters a deep connection with the natural world, teaching the importance of nurturing and preserving our planet. Each person participating in the program contributes to the growth of their greenspaces by taking part in a tree-planting ceremony after each workshop. This tradition not only enhances the aesthetics of the environment but also instills a sense of environmental stewardship within the participants. By planting trees, they actively contribute to the preservation of nature and create a greener, more sustainable future. Through this project, we aim to reduce absenteeism, improve school attendance, enhance educational opportunities for girls in the region as well as to improve the conservation of our environment.
