Establishing a Plant Nursery for Enhanced Agroforestry Training and Implementation in Bankim.
Our project, Establishing a Plant Nursery at ACOHOF Family Farm School for Enhanced Agroforestry Training and Implementation, endeavors to tackle the pressing issue of unsustainable farming practices and wildfires in Bankim, Cameroon.
By creating a standard plant nursery, we aim to support agroforestry training and implementation, crucial for combating desertification and preserving biodiversity. Aligned with UN Sustainable Development Goal 15: Life on Land, our initiative directly contributes to soil conservation, biodiversity protection, and environmental sustainability. Through the Global Youth Action Fund, we seek to empower youth and farming communities, providing them with the necessary resources and knowledge to implement sustainable farming techniques effectively. Our project not only addresses immediate environmental challenges but also fosters long-term resilience and sustainable development in our community.
