Ethereal Footprints.
My project, Ethereal Footprints is not just about tackling jigger infestations, it is about changing lives.
I have formulated a neem-based jigger acaricide that does not work just eradicate jiggers but to prevent them from reinfesting. For far too long, jiggers have caused unimaginable pain, stigma and hardship in communities, robbing children of their education and families of their dignity.
Our solution offers a chance for real transformation. With this formulation, children can return to school and be free from the fear of ridicule. Families can rebuild their livelihoods as they will no longer be held back by the pain of infestation. With the acaricide, I hope to help communities break free from the cycle of suffering and stigma.
Our vision is clear, we want a future where no one has to endure the pain of jiggers and where every community has the chance to thrive. We are also hoping to work with the local youths public helath officers in carrying out the treatment drives and educational campaigns where we will be sensitizing the need of proper hygiene. This will help us bring our vision to life and work towards the change we want to create.
