Flobox is a sustainable, ethical, and educational product designed to combat this problem by helping menstruators have a happier and healthier cycle. At Flobox, we offer period-care subscription boxes with environmentally biodegradable pads and tampons, and holistic self-care products–all to last your whole cycle. We are aware of the taboo narratives surrounding menstruation, so we educate our customers on the importance of menstrual health via the Menstrual Health Handbook provided in each box, and in our online platforms. Moreover, we acknowledge our responsibility to give back locally by donating 1 in 10 boxes we sell to a Toronto Women’s shelter. In the future, with the inspiring opportunity the IB has given us, we hope to produce more boxes, help a bigger demographic, and aid more women’s shelters. With the grant, we see our business potentially expanding nationally, or even internationally, reaching youth from all across the globe.
