"Being selected for the Global Youth Action Fund is both a milestone and a motivator.
It affirms our belief that student-led innovation can drive meaningful, sustainable change in the world. At Project G-Van, under Parvaah, we’ve developed a low-cost, biodegradable water filtration system using locally sourced materials like salty clay and marble dust. Our aim is simple yet powerful: to provide clean drinking water to underserved rural families while empowering artisans through sustainable employment. This recognition from IB is not just a validation of our work—it’s an opportunity to expand our impact, distribute 350+ filters across 10+ villages, and educate over 350 families on water safety and hygiene. Each of us—Aashi, Siya, Samara, Rehaan, Reet, Sarah, Krish, and Dhruvika—has poured our hearts into this mission. Parvaah means 'care,' and through this initiative, we’ve proven that students can care deeply and act boldly. With IB’s support, we’re not just distributing filters—we’re nurturing self-reliance, inspiring civic action, and creating a ripple effect of hope. Together, we’re building a future where clean water isn’t a privilege, but a right for every family."
