GAMMA Club
GAMMA is a student-led initiative that aims to bridge educational gaps by offering free, engaging classes to children from public schools in Mexico City.
Through a unique collaboration, students from the American School Foundation (ASF) design and teach classes in subjects such as science, English, and the arts, using ASF’s facilities as a safe and enriching learning environment. The program not only provides academic support but also fosters confidence, creativity, and curiosity among young learners who may otherwise lack access to quality educational opportunities.
What makes GAMMA special is its foundation in youth empowerment—students teaching students—and its commitment to Sustainable Development Goal 4: Quality Education. Our goal is to expand GAMMA to other schools across Mexico, creating a network of institutions that actively promote educational equity through similar outreach models. We envision a future where education is no longer a privilege, but a right shared equally by all children, regardless of their background. By sharing our project, we hope to inspire other communities and schools to take action and join us in building a more inclusive and hopeful future through education.
