Unequal access to quality education—especially in modern technology—is a major contributor to intergenerational inequality.
In today’s digital era, where AI tools like ChatGPT are part of our everyday lives, many underprivileged individuals remain unaware of these innovations or lack even basic computer skills. This technological gap means they often find themselves confined to low-skilled manual work, limiting their opportunities for upward mobility.
Our mission is to bridge this gap by thinking globally and acting locally. We have begun by teaching essential computer skills to underprivileged children in our Thai community. For example, we recently conducted a 3-days workshop at a local free library to introduce coding through Scratch, and we plan to offer additional sessions to teach other skills in the future.
We are also developing our website where we are planning to upload tutorial videos on these essential computer skills that will be conducted in both English and Thai, covering a wide range of contents that we believe will be beneficial for people in the Thai community, so that people living in other parts of Thailand can watch our videos, and those who want to revisit the content after workshops would be able to revisit them.
