Girl Power Uganda
Our project is dedicated to empowering girls in Uganda by addressing the barriers that prevent them from reaching their full potential, particularly in education, health, and leadership.
We focus on providing access to reusable menstrual products, delivering workshops on menstrual health, and offering mentorship programs that build confidence, life skills, and academic resilience. Many girls in Uganda miss school due to periods of poverty or lack of support, and our initiative directly tackles this challenge by promoting dignity and inclusion.
With support from the IB and the Global Youth Action Fund, we aim to expand our impact, reaching more schools, training peer mentors, and fostering long-term community partnerships. We believe that when girls are empowered, entire communities benefit. This project is about providing immediate resources, inspiring sustainable change, cultivating leadership, and helping girls stay in school, dream big, and create a future where they are seen, heard, and valued.
