Green Internships
One Degree Cooler is a youth-led non-profit organization based in Toronto, Canada.
One Degree Cooler focuses on building connections between climate action and the passions of today's youth, opening up opportunities for meaningful engagement. Our first key initiative is green internships, which is creating a platform for youth to access opportunities to work experience in sustainability. Our second key initiative is climate hackathons, where youth can collaborate and apply skills in other areas such as AI and technology to address climate issues. One Degree Cooler hopes to embed climate action into the everyday lives of youth, so they can build their own futures while also helping the planet. One Degree Cooler has more than 5,000 youth participating globally across 30+ school chapters in over 20 countries, with a growing number of partners as well.
