Greenhouse Project
Our community project aims to address the issue of nutritional deficiency among the children of Pearl Primary School Katoogo in Mukono, Uganda.
Throughourobservationandinteractionwiththeschoolcommunity,we recognized the impact of inadequate nutrition on children's learning and development. In alignment with the SDG of zero hunger, we are committed to ensuring that every child has access to nourishing meals. To achieve this goal, we are embarking on the construction of a sustainable and eco-friendly greenhouse, measuring 8mx5m. This greenhouse will serve as a long-term solution to provide fresh vegetables and food for the 500 students of Pearl Primary School. By establishing a reliable source of nutritious food on-site, we aim to alleviate the burden on the school faculty and ensure that every child receives the nourishment they need to thrive. Through this project, we aspire to not only address immediate nutritional needs but also foster a sustainable solution that benefits the entire school community. We believe that investing in the health and well-being of children is essential for their academic success and overall quality of life. Together, we can create a brighter future where no child has to face the challenges of hunger.
