Profile
Info4Air
Info4Air is a youth-led digital initiative designed to help communities in Ulaanbaatar city of Mongolia to respond to severe winter air pollution. In one of the coldest capitals in the world, extreme temperatures drive widespread coal burning for heating, causing dangerous smog levels that directly impact public health.
Info4Air simplifies air quality information into an accessible, mobile-friendly format so users can quickly understand current conditions. Building on this existing platform, the next phase of the project focuses on developing an AI-based prediction system that forecasts upcoming air quality levels using weather data such as temperature and wind patterns. By providing early warnings of high-risk pollution days, Info4Air enables communities—especially vulnerable groups—to take preventive actions before exposure occurs.
Through the Global Youth Action Fund, we aim to scale and implement this solution, improve prediction accuracy, and reach more users during the critical winter months. Our goal is to transform air quality data into actionable insights that protect health, support timely decision-making, and strengthen community resilience through technology.
