Driven by a deep commitment to inclusivity, we strive to break down barriers and ensure that every person, regardless of their neurological differences, can access a high-quality education. By democratizing access to neuroscience, the Institute aims to foster a greater understanding of neurodivergences and raise awareness about the unique strengths and challenges that individuals may experience.

Central to their vision is the publication of scientific works that not only advance knowledge in the field but also translate complex research into practical insights for educators, parents, and communities. Through these publications, the “Instituto Merzenich” aims to empower stakeholders with the tools and knowledge to create supportive and inclusive learning environments.

In addition to its scholarly endeavors, the Institute is the driving force behind the creation of the "Neurolympics" – an innovative platform that celebrates the diverse talents of neurodivergent individuals. By showcasing the remarkable abilities of participants, the Neurolympics challenge stereotypes and foster a culture of appreciation and understanding. The Interface for Acessibility of Neurodiversity also aims to this inclusion. With the IB, we hope to receive the support to boosten our projects.
