Our project aims to establish a community library for children and adolescents in Manchay, Lima, one of the most underserved areas of the city, where nearly 50% of the population lives in poverty or extreme poverty.
With the support of the IB Global Youth Action Fund, this library will serve around 200 children and teenagers, providing them with access to books, educational resources, and a safe space for learning. Through this initiative, we hope to strengthen their educational development, nurture their potential, and help break the cycle of poverty by opening pathways to better educational opportunities.
