Lift To End Duchenne
Our mission at Lift To End Duchenne is to create a more equitable world by enhancing access to treatment and support for individuals with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, ultimately improving their well-being and quality of life.
By utilizing school gym facilities for fundraising, we instill profound gratitude in able-bodied students, empowering them to use their unique strengths to create a lasting impact on society.
With the guidance and support from the IB Global Youth Fund, we aspire to expand our reach to other IB schools, centralizing resources for challenges, speaker series, and educational events. By doing this, IB students will be able to easily organize Lift To End Duchenne chapters in their own schools, spreading the cause even further and inspiring their peers to become active participants, utilize school gyms and fitness facilities, and contribute to a more inclusive and supportive society while raising funds to research, treat, and support Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD).
