Lifting the Veil on Menstruation
"Lifting the Veil on Menstruation" is a pioneering project that focuses on giving girls power by teaching them and making sure they can get to things needed for menstrual cleanliness.
By having workshops in schools, we plan to teach girls about their periods, clear up any wrong beliefs or shame around it, and give them important information for their health and happiness. Every girl is going to get a period starter kit, so they have what they need. We want to solve this important problem and stop girls from skipping school when they have their periods. This way, they can join in all the school activities without feeling embarrassed or ashamed. We aim to give girls the understanding and self-belief they require for academic success and further achievements.
