Yachay Ch'ama is an expansion movement born from LXT CHANGE, with a bold vision to identify and ignite the next generation of indigenous leaders across Peru.

Yachay Ch'ama is an expansion movement born from LXT CHANGE, with a bold vision to identify and ignite the next generation of indigenous leaders across Peru.

It begins with a concrete, scalable action. In 2026, we will launch our identification protocol in two strategic schools in Junín: one in the Quechua highlands of Pucará and another in the Asháninka territory of Puerto Ocopa, targeting 100 tenth-grade students at this critical life juncture.

Students will document their community's biocultural heritage with elders, prototype viable business ventures based on this unique knowledge, and culminate with a Community Presentation.

While countless projects arrive in communities with temporary "leadership" and "entrepreneurship" workshops that offer inspiration without tools, leaving behind a fleeting motivation that vanishes in weeks, Yachay Ch'ma rejects this model of motivational extractivism.

I hope to provide leadership and entrepreneurial tools for children in vulnerable areas, connect with students, understand their perspectives on global issues, and document how the business model can shape their sense of identity. Also, I want to immerse in their traditions, their culture and give them control of their destiny without forget their roots.
