Project Hifazat, a high-school social initiative recognized by Pramerica Life Insurance and Harvard University, seeks to destigmatize reproductive health in India, particularly among vulnerable groups.

Funded by Harvard as part of the HMUN Impact Initiative, it has organized 7 health camps in Mangar Village, Faridabad, providing over 1,000 individuals with free access to professional gynecological consultations, STD and cervical cancer screenings, thermal ablation treatments, and HPV vaccinations. Furthermore, Project Hifazat has partnered with manufacturers to secure sanitary pads at minimal cost, distributing them to over 150 government schools across Delhi-NCR. Each distribution is paired with a menstrual health workshop to educate students. In response to local educators in Mangar Village, the project developed a comprehensive sex-education curriculum, enabling teachers and volunteers to independently conduct reproductive health workshops. This curriculum includes a vast knowledge base, detailed lesson plans, and age-appropriate content, supplemented with teaching resources like handouts, presentations, and infographics. Additionally, recognizing the rapid digital integration in rural India, the project introduced a bilingual reproductive health chatbot, providing round-the-clock access to reliable information. Lastly, the initiative has effectively used social media, particularly Instagram, to engage over 100,000 users in discussions about sexual health, significantly expanding its reach and impact.
