Project MoneySatark
Project MoneySatark derives its origin from being ‘satark’ (suh-tuh-rk, meaning vigilant) about money.
India’s embrace of digital payments has led to an increased incidence of online financial frauds with losses exceeding $690 million in the year 2023. Project MoneySatark aims to equip citizens with secure digital payment practices, to combat online financial fraud. For our online outreach, we have created an informative website including a community forum for people to share their experience with financial fraud. Our offline community outreach sessions create awareness about financial frauds and how each individual can protect themselves in the digital payment era. By empowering individuals to protect themselves, we aim to build a generation of responsible and satark users of the financial payment ecosystem.
