Promoting Menstrual Equity for Refugees
Our project aims to empower refugee girls and women in the greater Sacramento area by providing them with access to menstrual products and knowledge about their reproductive health.
Our project aims to empower refugee girls and women in the greater Sacramento area by providing them with access to menstrual products and knowledge about their reproductive health.
We plan to do this by holding multiple product distributions and educational workshops in multiple languages at local refugee centers. By building relationships with other members in our community through social media and other means, we also hope to encourage others to join the cause and challenge menstrual inequity.
