SDG 4: Quality Education for All! Niños de Guatemala - Model United Nations at the ISE
The Interdisciplinary project at the International School of Eindhoven (ISE) involves all of our MYP4 students and the MYP5/DP1 students from our Model United Nations (MUN) Board of Directors (BoD).
The BoD has prepared 3 Research Reports to guide the 132 students throughout the 3-day MUN conference with their research and debate on the issue regarding SDG 4 - Quality Education. Alongside this, the organization Niños de Guatemala (NDG) will perform an opening speech and workshops, engaging the students in a real-life case where awareness and fundraising for quality education are heavily needed.
The project aims to increase the MYP4 students' awareness of quality education worldwide, allowing them to understand the need for global support and initiatives that will help all nations worldwide to achieve SDG 4. In the name of the ISE MUN and NDG Clubs, with the funding awarded from the IB, we hope to support Guatemalan children by providing them with quality essentials for their educational institutions and livelihoods. From school materials like textbooks and pencils, to warm, nourishing meals, we aim to support them to gain better quality education for a better life.
