My project, South Asian Marrow Initiative, is a non-profit organization that provides cures for patients suffering from blood cancer and other blood diseases.
My project, South Asian Marrow Initiative, is a non-profit organization that provides cures for patients suffering from blood cancer and other blood diseases.
By hosting drives and events around the country, SAMI recruits donors to join the National Marrow Donor Program so that donors can give patients the life-saving marrow transplant they need. I hope to expand SAMI nationwide by launching 20 new chapters this year and working towards thousands of South Asian bone marrow registrations to save more lives.
