Tech4Equity
Tech4Equity is a student driven project dedicated to bridging the digital divide by providing underserved students with access to digital education.
Through our hardware and E-waste collection drives, we repurpose hardware to equip NGOs with devices, while our in-house and online sessions empower students with the skills needed to thrive in the digital age.
At Tech4Equity, we believe in fostering innovation and opportunity to all ensuring that every student, regardless of background, has the tools to shape their future. We work together to deliver engaging coding sessions, create open source video lessons, organise impactful hardware collection drives.
We aim to build Tech4Equity bigger and better by encouraging volunteers to join us and drive social change. With the support of the Global Youth Action Fund, we will expand digital access for students at Shikshantar, enabling them to explore learning, creativity, and innovation in the digital world.
Through interactive coding workshops, open-source video lessons, and peer-led learning, we want students to see technology not just as something they use, but as something they can create with. For us, this is not just a project, it is a life-changing opportunity for our friends at Shikshantar, who we see as peers with immense potential.
