Techno-Drishti (An Aid for Visually Impaired)

By making and innovating a sensor stick for the visually impaired, we are dealing with acompellingrequirement for society, but also encourage inclusivity within our society and community. Techno Drishti for the blind as the name suggests, is a device for the visually impaired to guide the user to their respective destination and avoid colliding with the obstacles. It uses two ultrasonic sensors to detect the depth below or the obstacles in between. Along with that it uses Arduino as the main controller. The sensor will detect the distance from the obstacle and send it to the controller. We inspire the upcoming generation by parading how technology is a boon. We aim to provide a technological solution for the needy, to enhance their good health and well-being, and to remove inequalities. Our project is deeply engrossed in community engagement, our aim for the IB is to inspire and ignite the students and community members by conducting online workshops to transit innovative solutions to societal issues and promote SDG 3.
