Teeth For Timor
After going on Immersion to Timor Leste last year, I realised how serious the dental hygiene crisis really is. As Mercy Action captain at my school, I decided to initiate a project called Teeth4Timor.
After going on Immersion to Timor Leste last year, I realised how serious the dental hygiene crisis really is. As Mercy Action captain at my school, I decided to initiate a project called Teeth4Timor.
This project aims to acquire as many toothbrushes and toothpastes before the next Monte Immersion group visits Timor Leste again in late June. When the immersion group goes to Timor Leste, they will distribute the toothbrushes at schools, the dentists at the Balibo dental clinic and local residents as well as educate them on the importance of dental hygiene.
