Profile
Waste Magician
Our project is an environmental project that mainly focuses on composting and land restoration. By recycling organic wastes on our campus, we can make compost (fertilizers) that will be used for planting.
We sell vegetables/fruits we planted, donate the funds to charities, and use the leftovers for composting again. Since the beginning of this project, we’ve recycled more than 12 tons of organic waste, which significantly mitigates waste emissions and saves our planet.
Currently, we’ve built a “sustainability” network that includes 5 schools in total. Each of the schools has a sector of this project. We are planning to use our funds to purchase more compost bins, greenhouses, and infrastructure that will make our system more efficient. Some of the funds will also be used for organizing public events such as “sustainability” summits, which strengthen our “sustainability” network.
Most importantly, we’d like to grant some of the funds to other composting clubs within our network, which helps us to solve some challenges that some of our sectors are facing.
