Wildlife Neighbors

As residents of a very urbanized city Beijing, we recognize our disconnectedness with nature. It is because of the disconnect, do we often neglect our neighbors who coexist with us in this biosphere. We, as wildlife neighbors, hope to achieve structural changes in building sustainable cities and communities starting with our school community. We launched three projects, one to build a city-to- national network of wildlife monitoring through the infrared networks we lend out to schools all across, one to suggest scientific rewilding and reconstruct our environments so that wildlife can take over, and the last one, through raising awareness and engaging project, to increase connectivity and knowledge of generations of citizen scientist. We want to make people aware that wildlife neighbors are your neighbors, and we want to make wildlife neighbors everyone's neighbors.
