Young Warriors Movement: Restoration Warriors

Our project empowers young people to take an active role in protecting coastal ecosystems through climate education, biodiversity restoration, and coral reef gardening.

Our project empowers young people to take an active role in protecting coastal ecosystems through climate education, biodiversity restoration, and coral reef gardening.

Based in our coastal community, we work with students and youth groups to build awareness of climate change, ocean health, and the importance of preserving marine biodiversity. Through hands-on learning, workshops, and community outreach, young people gain the knowledge and skills needed to become environmental stewards and leaders.

A key focus of the project is coral reef gardening, where youth participate in growing and transplanting coral fragments to help restore damaged reef areas. These activities not only support marine biodiversity but also strengthen local resilience, as healthy reefs protect coastlines, support fisheries, and sustain livelihoods.

By combining environmental education with practical conservation work, the project aims to inspire a new generation of youth leaders who are confident in advocating for climate action and ecosystem protection. Participants are encouraged to share their knowledge with peers, schools, and community members, creating a ripple effect of awareness and engagement.

Through this initiative, we hope to contribute to healthier coastal ecosystems, increased youth participation in climate solutions, and stronger community commitment to protecting our oceans for future generations.
